We are looking for a Business Development Intern to aid in the company’s expansion. You will be working from home, allowing for flexible work hours and the ability to travel to visit clients when required. Our ideal candidate would be someone with a passion for cross-border e-commerce and the Chinese market.

The Role

The role will entail:

 

Engaging primarily with European clients who want to enter the Chinese market; past experience in global e-commerce in a client-facing role is necessary.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • ability to successfully communicate Monrah’s ideas, aims and unique selling points to potential clients

  • converting potential clients into sales

  • identifying opportunities for revenue growth

  • building on new and pre-existing contacts within different industries to increase our client portfolio

  • representing Monrah at networking events and conferences

  • willingness to provide input into our marketing and outsourcing strategies


Key Attributes and skills

Fluent English speaker, the ability to also speak Mandarin would be greatly appreciated.

A proactive worker, always willing to take the initiative and meet deadlines.

Experience of b2b communication.

 

Preferred but not essential:

Experience within the retail, adult products, and foods and vitamin supplements industries.


Qualifications

Degree and/or similar qualification in business or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Marketing and Copywriting Intern (Mandarin)

Monrah Consulting is currently expanding in the UK. We have multiple positions available within the Head Office based in London. We work with clients across the Retail, Manufacturing and Fashion industries.

We are looking for a Mandarin Marketing Intern to aid the company’s growth. You will be working from home, allowing for flexible work hours. You will be working on developing local content to support the E-commerce and consultancy business.

Our ideal candidate would be a university student or graduate with passion for marketing, advertising, and business development.

The Role

The Mandarin Marketing and Copywriting Intern will be responsible for creating engaging copy for the E-commerce site, as part of an expanding editorial team of international writers within the E-commerce department. Representing the voice of the brand, you need to be able write content that engages the native audience. You will report directly to the Managing Director.

 

Key responsibilities include creating the Mandarin site copy, writing and uploading service descriptions and completing editorial content to strict deadlines.

Although not essential, it would be great if you could create animation, film and edit videos for our website and assist as we build our website.

The role also works to support activity in Chinese markets.

Key Attributes and skills

Native Mandarin Speaker, able to write and speak English fluently

A proactive worker, always willing to take the initiative and meet deadlines.

Passionate about the Digital Marketing and International Business

Familiar with operating social media channels


Previous experience in Fashion, Advertising, Digital and Retail is preferred.

Experience translating documents
Computer literate and able to use CMS systems and Microsoft suite

Experience filming and editing videos
Experience in Photoshop, graphic design, HMTL and website content management preferable
Understanding of SEO best practice


Qualifications

Degree and/or similar qualification in advertising/design or related field or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory

Research Analyst (Investment, Property)

Monrah Consulting is currently expanding in the UK. We have multiple positions available within the Head Office based in London. We work with clients across the Retail, Manufacturing and Fashion industries.

We are looking for a research analyst to aid in the company’s expansion by researching into potential investment opportunities and the property market, as well as other sectors if and when required. You will be working from home, allowing for flexible work hours. Our ideal candidate would be someone with strong quantitative analysing skills and an interest in the Chinese and European markets.

The Role

The role will entail:

 

Gathering market intelligence and presenting it to the rest of the team to aid the company to make informed decisions about consulting projects. Your focus will be on investment opportunities and the property sector, as well as any other sectors required.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Reading into financial reports, searching online and surveying the market to research online on investment opportunities and reporting back on them.  

  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the property market.

  • Communicating both internally, with the team, and externally, with agencies/brokers.


Key Attributes and skills

Fluent English speaker, the ability to also speak Mandarin would be greatly appreciated. Strong quantitative analysis skills.  

 

Preferred but not essential:

"Street smarts", a good understanding of London and UK geography.


Qualifications

Degree and/or similar qualification in maths or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
